Configure E-Mail Client for AOLŪ or Gmail™
Seller's Assistant Basic/Pro (eBay / AOL / Gmail)
    Instructions:
  1. After launching Seller's Assistant, navigate to the File menu, Configuration Wizard
  2. Click next until you see the following e-mail configuration dialog box:



  3. Click "I will set up SA to send emails without the need of another program"
  4. For Outgoing Mail Server, enter localhost (or 127.0.0.1 or your network computer name)
  5. For Remote Mail Port, enter 25 (unless you have changed the port due to program conflicts
  6. Check "My mail server requires authentication."
    User: your email address
    Password: your password
  7. Now you're ready to send e-mail to your clients!

If you receive an Error #20302 (Connection Error), another program on your computer may be conflicting with the ports that eMail2Pop uses. To change the SMTP (outgoing) e-mail port, enter eMail2Pop configuration. Switch to the SMTP tab and change the port number from 25 to something else, like 2525. Next, switch to SA configuration and change the "Remote Mail Port" to the number entered in eMail2Pop. The number used in SA must match with eMail2Pop.
