Configure E-Mail Client for AOL®
Forte Agent E-mail and News Reader Settings (AOL)  

Instructions:
1. Go to Forte Options -> User And System Profile and select the System tab.
2. Select the "Send email messages with SMTP" option and fill in the server name with localhost.
   
   
   
   
3. Click the SMTP Authentication button in the middle of the dialog.
4. Select the Login with a username and password item, then Use POP username and password.
5. Fill in the blanks as seen below.
   
   
   
   
6. Click OK.
7. Click OK on the first dialog.
8. Go to Options > Inbound Email and select the System tab.
9. Select Receive email with POP and fill in the server name with localhost.
10. Select Login with a username and password, fill in the Username with your AOL screen name, and the password with your AOL password.
11. Optionally, you can select the Remember password between sessions option. If you do not, Agent will prompt you for the password every time it checks for mail.
    
    
    
    
12. Click OK.
    
13. Now you're ready to send and receive AOL mail!
