Configure E-Mail Client for Gmail
QualComm Eudora Mail Settings (Gmail)
Instructions:

Go to the Tools menu and select Options

On the Getting Started tab, enter the following as described below:
Mail Server (Incoming): localhost (or
127.0.0.1 or your network computer name)
Login Name: YourGmailAddress@gmail.com
SMTP Server (Outgoing): localhost (same as Mail Server)
Allow Authentication: checked

On the Checking Mail tab, enter the additional information as described
below:
Secure Sockets when Receiving: none

Click OK
to exit Options

Go to the Tools menu,
select Filters
Qualcomm Eudora 5/6 Filters Window

In the Filters window, click
New
-
Fill out the form as follows:
Match
Check the box for Incoming
Header: X-eMail2Pop-Status (type
this in manually) contains fill
Select or from the middle box
between the two Header boxes
Header: From: (type this in
manually) is delete@delete.del
Action
Select Transfer To
Click the button next to the Transfer To box, click
Trash .

Close the Filters window

Go to Instructions for Spam Filter Configuration
(required if you are using the Spam Filtering function in eMail2Pop)

Now you are ready to use Eudora for Gmail POP3 access!
